LS One 2020.1 – Hospitality boost!

It is with great pleasure that we would like to announce the release of LS One 2020.1. The LS One team has once again packed this release with very exciting features. If we had to sum up this release in a word it would be HOSPITALITY.

Kitchen Display Solution (KDS)

The KDS has been part of the LS Retail offering for years and so its with great excitement that this will now be available in LS One. For those that are not familiar with the KDS please install the free trial on our homepage and try it for yourself. The KDS extends the hospitality solution with digital displays in the kitchen to manage incoming orders. The KDS can also be used in any service type environment. Please find the price on the new LS One pricelist available in the Partner Portal. The KDS is also available in the discounted LS One Suite.

Assembly Items / Recipe Management

If you are familiar with Bill-of-Materials (BOMs) then Assembly Items is the same. In the hospitality industry this is often referred to as Recipe Management. Assemblies are extremely handy when you want to keep track of the parts that make up the item. So if you e.g. sell a hamburger in your restaurant you would like to know how many pieces of lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and patties you sell and how that effects your stock together with proper waste management. Assemblies allows you to do just that. With this as part of the LS One offering it will transform LS One into a fine dining solution. Assemblies are also fully supported in our SAP Business One integration. Other uses of Assemblies include Deals, Gift baskets and Kit items.

Other improvements

As always there is allot of other improvements in this release. Some of these are requests from our partners and customers and others features that we include to improve our performance, usability and thus quality. The latter being the key tenant we focus on with LS One development. You can read all the details in the release notes.
