LS One 2021

It is with great pleasure that we announce the release of LS One 2021. With all the most complex and time-consuming features accomplished, we can now move to shorter release cycles, getting closer to our goal of quarterly releases. I´m very proud of our team for delivering an exciting and much anticipated release with the following features:

LS Pay

Our partners and customers have been requesting for the LS Pay service, already available on LS Central and LS Express, to become available also for LS One. I am therefore very pleased to announce that LS One now supports LS Pay, a fully integrated EFT payment service that enables you to use various PSPs (Payment Service Providers) from all over the globe. Here is the complete list of supported PSPs.

LS Pay has a dedicated team in LS Retailadding new services every month, so if you do not find your preferred PSP, please let us know we evaluate all requests. What is important about LS Pay is that it is “integrated”, so when a transaction is tendered, the amount payable will automatically be transferred to the payment device. No need for double entry or complex reconciliation afterwards.

Stock valuation

Stock valuation is now part of LS One. The system calculates average cost price based on the amount and price paid to vendors. You can track the running average per item, and per store where the items are sold. We have also created a special report for both Site Manager and Power BI reporting.

POS plugin changes

Our developing partners will be glad to hear it is now significantly easier to develop plugins for the POS when customizations are required. Those familiar with the special blank operation will find this a welcome change. Please visit the Learning Centre for more details.

Fixes and enhancements

We have also been working on many more improvements and fixes for both the POS and Site manager. You can read all the details in the release notes.

As always, the LS One team has done a fantastic job on this release, and we are eager to hear our partners’ and customers’ feedback as they adopt the new features.
